This volume remained popular from its publication in 2013 and eventually sold out. We are able to continue its legacy in this PDF download form, first made available in 2017.

This beloved collection of stories, suitable for children, comes straight from the experience of the author from his work in teaching young people at the Ekoji Buddhist Temple in Virginia. Each story is beautifully illustrated by watercolor artist Pitor Parda. Cover image by the author and book design by Carol Tornatore.

The book is a great resource for Temples with Dharma School programs for young children. The books can be read to younger children, and older children can read the stories on their own or to others.
