Publication and Distribution of The Teaching of Buddha
In order to convey the true teachings of the Buddha (Buddha=the Awakened One), in an easy-to-understand manner, we selected important elements and parables of the teachings from various sutras, translated them into modern languages using ordinary everyday words, and compiled them into The Teaching of Buddha. By disseminating The Teaching of Buddha, we hope to transmit Buddhism to people everywhere in the world, and to create, even if only on a modest level, a peaceful society free of conflict and hatred. We are carrying this out through our efforts to distribute books to hotels, schools, hospitals and other institutions.
